Summer's Over....School Begins!

So the Summer Days are over, and the school year has officially begun. Today we had "Meet the Teacher" and I am looking forward to the upcoming year. The whole 3rd grade moved classrooms this year it took forever to get all those boxes unpacked! But with help from Jamie, I got my room looking spiffy!

After a few weeks of cleaning and organizing, I got my class they way it needed to be! Here is the "after" pictures!

 So tomorrow starts a brand new year, with brand new students, and a new outlook of teaching! Can't wait to start out the new school year as Mrs. Beatty!!!

I'm Blogging! How Cool!

Ok, so this won't be the longest post ever, but I am just so excited to be a blogger! All of this is very new to me, so it might take me a while to figure out this whole blogging world, but I think I might enjoy it. I hope it will be a great way to keep in touch with family and friends and share Jamie and I's "exciting" lives down here in St. Petersburg, FL! 

So, married life is just like unmarried life. Not much has really changed...but of course that is just my opinion. That is usually the first question everyone always asks me whenever they see that I am newly married. I am not quite sure how to respond but just to say, "It is just like any other day that we were not married, except now Jamie wears that sweet little band around his finger" :) haha! Something he is still getting use to, but at least trying to make an effort! 


As for summer "vaca" is almost to an end for me :( How sad. School will be starting back and fall will be approaching, which also means FOOTBALL SEASON! Yea! Hopefully we will make it up to a MSU game this year but if not we will at least get to see them play the Gators in Gainsville! So if anyone was thinking about going to that game, let me know! You can stay with us!
